Who will you meet at the course?

As participant to the training you will be in the good hands of very knowledgeable trainers. The project has gathered some of the most capable facilitators in this field:

Risto Ruottunen is a Finnish theatre director and drama coach. After graduating with an M.A. from Tampere University, he continued studying adult education at Helsinki University, and theatre directing and drama teaching at the Theatre Academy Helsinki. While working as Regional Coordinator and Senior Lecturer at Humak University of Applied Sciences, Ruottunen was also a Content Manager of the acclaimed EU-Minerva project, “ Act & Change”. Over the years, he has mounted several forum theater productions and has written a book of study material on forum theatre. At present, he is Head of Theatre and Drama studies at the pre-university college, Työväen Akatemia (The Workers´ Academy) in Finland. He also teaches acting, applied drama and theatre history at Open University of Theatre Academy Helsinki.

Jacob Knudsen is a consultant at VIFIN specializing in use of digital media in learning. Prior to this, he was curator and dramaturge at the Museum of Vejle. He holds a Master in History and Dramatic Arts from The University of Aarhus, Denmark. For the last 10 years, he has done concept development for exhibitions and special events. He specializes in mixing methods from the theatrical field with digital media such as mobile phones and web 2.0.

Knudsen has given special lectures on the use of theatrical methods in museums at the University of Aarhus and been one of the leading figures in building “The Mobile Vejle” digital network. He does theater performance and writes theatre plays.
